For those who know me, they know I am an avid gamer. I have been console gaming since I was a kid and only in the last few years did I get myself into World of Warcraft. I play the game with a lot of real life friends and we use a voice server to communicate whether we are actually playing the game or not. When you live alone, using just your computer’s speakers and a stand-alone microphone is okay for gaming but when you move cross country to be with someone and you now share space, finding the right headset is essential to the livelihood of the relationship and staying in touch with friends online.
I found the Logitech Gaming Headset G330 on Amazon’s web site. Most places like Best Buy did not come close to what I was looking for. I did not want a clunky headset, like so many gaming ones are modeled after. I also do not like headphones that sit on the top of my head and prefer the wrap-around style these particular headphones utilize. I am a huge fan of Logitech products, so after checking out the reviews I decided to go with the red and black (my two favorite color) version.
When they arrived from Amazon, I was shocked at how comfortable they felt. Sometimes headsets in particular can be too tight around the head, especially when trying to find the right way to wear them for your head, ears and lips. This headset has very good playback and from what my friends tell me they can hear me clearly when I use it to talk. I was very impressed with the Logitech Gaming Headset G330 and I didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get them. This headset is great for gamers or even for Skype and for the price you cannot beat them. If you are looking for a headset but want to stay away from the pricier end of the spectrum, this headset just might be right for you.
